Game Controls and Strategy
On desktop, use the arrow keys. On touch devices, swipe clearly in one direction and let the board settle before the next move. If the rules or merges are unclear, begin with How to Play 2048. For board control, read the strategy guide.
Leaderboard Help
A result appears only after the score form is completed and the server accepts the run. If it does not appear, check that the submission reported success, refresh the page once and confirm that the score is high enough for the displayed Top 100. Names may be shortened or rejected when they fail the public-name rules.
The leaderboard is live data, so it should not be cached like a static article. If an old table remains visible, reload the page without using a saved browser copy. More detail is available in How the Leaderboard Works.
Before Reporting a Technical Problem
Record the page address, approximate time, device, operating system and browser version. Describe the last action that worked and the first action that failed. A screenshot can help, but remove personal information before sharing it.
This independent project does not currently operate a public support email inbox or promise individual replies. The help pages are kept public so fixes and explanations benefit every player. If a direct contact channel is added later, it will be published on this page rather than hidden in an image or third-party directory.
